My sister requested a 'cottage core corset' for her birthday and while I love sewing, I've only made things for myself and never someone curvaceous (she's built like a woman, and I am built like a stick figure). I was so thankful for this easy to follow pattern and instructions and I'm so proud of how this came out!

This pattern was very easy to understand. It includes several pictures, and even though it was more complicated than projects I made in the past, I had an easy time following it. I did alter the shoulders slightly because I’m short, particularly in the torso, but that’s normal for me and was as simple as taking an inch off each strap. The seller was also very kind and pleasant to work with. I am thrilled with the finished product and got several compliments. Cannot recommend highly enough!

This was my first men's item I've made, it was super easy! I don't know why it says intermediate, I think this is a great beginner project. It fits nice and doesn't take much fabric. Instructions are pretty clear! I purchased another men's shirt pattern before this and ended up not using it and doing this one instead because the instructions on that one were trash, so if you're new and needing clear instructions and can't find it, this is the one! I will be saving this pattern for whenever I want to make more matching outfits for me and my boyfriend lol

I am making my own wedding dress and I have been really struggling with figuring out a bodice design. I got this one and it worked wonderfully! I only had to try one time and it was completely successful and turned out great!

Absolutely LOVE this pattern, It’s so rare to find patterns that actually turn out exactly like the photos without modifications. It’s drafted perfectly. I accidentally chose to make the XS since I was in between sizes (went with waist size instead of hip) but I should have went with the S because of the box pleats (for drape), so if anyone else is between sizes keep that in mind! But I’m in love with these, im going to make a dozen more.

The side tie too was my first ever solo sewing project. I’ve hemmed things here and there but when it comes to following a pattern I am brand new. 1. The pattern was so easy to follow. Putting it together was so easy. It looks a bit wild but once you start doing it, you’ll see what I mean. 2. The instructions were pretty easy for me to follow. There’s a video linked for a specific part which helped a ton. 3. Katya also made me feel like I could come to her if I had any questions. Thankfully I didn’t, but she definitely would have helped. Note: I used a much thicker fabric than recommended and also do not have an iron. That’s why mines a bit clunky chunky 😆

I LOVE THIS PATTERN! I have bought and printed at least a dozen PDF patterns (one that literally took all day to tape together) and none of then have been this easy to assemble. The pattern is scaled to the page and set up to overlap only on the right edge and the bottom. What this means is that you don't have to trim anything and can simple lay one page over the next and tape it. In spite of being large, it went together in less than 15 minutes. As far as the actual pattern, it was simple and quick to sew, (or would have been if I hadn't made the choice to interface and embroider it). The interfacing made it tricky to ease the collar and sleeves but the seams eventually lined up properly. I also added a bit more fullness to the cape portion. I made this as a gift for my sister but I will definataly be making on for myself.

Its my first time making a pattern this advanced, and I'd consider this a very good pattern with easy to follow directions. i used a knit fabric for the main fabric and a thrifted woven cotton bedsheet for the lining. even though the knit has some stretch to it, the interfacing and lining hold it in place well. i will definitely be reusing my pattern pieces to make another!
